About Us

We're a small family farm located in coastal South Carolina. Nowadays, it's just my husband and myself - if you're only counting humans! This is the culmination of a long time dream for us and we're learning while we're doing. If nothing else, it's definitely a journey. 

Both my husband and I grew up in the country. Even though work and life brought us to suburbia for many years, we longed to get back to the country. When my daughter headed off to college, we finally made that jump. Now we're back in the country and trying to build a small farm on our 15 acres. It's a lot of work, a lot of mistakes, but a lot of fun.

We're building gardens, adding irrigation, and battling the extreme heat and humidity our area is famous for. We've already learned that sometimes you have to bring in what you don't have (good dirt!) and that pests in this area are NOT kidding around. We're getting there!
